5 Stars for Kitchen Facilities
We are extremely pleased that our kichen facilities, which are available for rent, received a 5 star hygiene rating from the local health authority.

Apprenticeships
Two of our workers, Michael Lettan, Emilyn Needs are undertaking an apprenticeship in warehousing.  The have just successful passed their Fork Lift Truck Driving Certificate.  Well Done!

Moving On
Ben Bees who has been with us for a number of years and moved on to main stream employment as a gardener with a local presitigous school.  We wish Ben every success in his new career.


Helping Hands
We have been very lucky in the number of people who have volunteered to help Watford Workshop on a regular basis.  We are however still looking for more, so if you would like to get involved please contact us.

BIG LOTTERY FUND AWARD FOR LIFE SKILLS TRAINING

Big Lottery Fund

Watford Workshop secured a grant of £9,840 from the Big Lottery Fund.
This grant was used to upgrade our kitchen facilities in order to provide life skills training to our service-users.

The Big Lottery Fund grant has benefited service-users by enabling them to have greater independence, healthier lifestyle and become more integrated into the local community.

 "This grant is just what we need to assist people with more independent living"
