Donating

Help disabled people find their own place in this difficult world. With your help they can gain experience in work, acquire more confidence and build on their social skills.

We would not be able to achieve our goals without our donors. You could be one of them!

In the last few years we have received donations of money from the sponsors of one of our friends who ran a half-marathon, from several County Councillors’ locality budget funds, from St Mary’s Church in Rickmansworth, and from some of our volunteers. Also we have received donations of equipment such as a dishwasher, fridge and racking from BEKO.

If you are a UK taxpayer donating your own money, please use GiftAid so we can claim a tax refund of 25p for every £1 that you donate.

MyDonateLogoIt is now easy to donate using our myDonate page – click here for details. myDonate does not charge any fees or commission to the donor or the charity – and will also collect a GiftAid tax refund on our behalf if you tick the GiftAid box – so it is a very cost-effective way of donating online. myDonate will send you an eMail receipt for your donation so, if you are a higher-rate tax payer, you can claim additional tax relief through your tax return.

If you wish to donate by cheque, please send it to us at Watford Sheltered Workshop, Century Retail Park, Dalton Way, Watford, WD17 2SF. If you would like to GiftAid your donation please write your full name, postal address and eMail address on the back of the cheque and we will send you a GiftAid declaration.

We are very grateful for all donations, no matter how large or small.

Thank you,

Gordon Sellers – Chairman             07775 601320             gordon@gordonsellers.co.uk
