Our volunteers help us in many ways, such as coaching on the shopfloor, delivering training, developing Standard Operating Procedures, creating jigs to simplify production, drafting management policies, installing new equipment, upgrading our IT system and helping out on the shopfloor. We are always looking for more help from volunteers and at the moment we have a need for the following:
Hands-on office management support
We are looking for someone to help with a variety of tasks in the office.
Chef/cook to back up our existing chef
Our volunteer chef produces the most wonderful meals for us, but from time to time we need cover if she is away.
Outreach worker for mainstream work experience/employment
We need a volunteer to help us contact local businesses and organisations to find work experience and hopefully employment for the disabled people we train.
Volunteers will need a DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service – previously CRB check), this can be arranged by us with no charge to the applicant.
To discuss our volunteering opportunities further, please request a volunteer application pack or telephone Julia Normoyle
