Our Team

Management Team

Our Branch Management Teams oversee all care planning, management and ultimately delivery.  They are the friendly face putting the kettle on when our care staff need to talk. The reassuring presence investigating concerns or assessing needs. The person at the end of the phone that resolves the problem you bring to their attention. They are superstars!

External parties who are entitled to appoint Trustees are Hertfordshire County Council and Watford Borough Council. Trustees who are targeted to become members of the Management Committee are selected to provide a wide knowledge and experience in the area of working with people with disabilities. Our team of around 15 volunteers makes it all possible. With varied skills including IT, production management, manufacturing jigs & tools, maintenance & projects, cooking, finance, health & safety, human resources and working on the shop floor, they provide invaluable assistance.

In March 2012 Watford Workshop was one of the first organisations in Hertfordshire to be awarded the Valuing Volunteers accreditation

We have been very lucky over the past few months in securing the help of a number of organisations. Halifax and DeLage Landen have been providing us with volunteers who have worked on a number of projects. Halifax worked with us over 2 days providing volunteers to work with our service-users enabling them to find out more about the people we support. DeLage Landen, as well as helping with work within the Workshop, helped us improve our garden and paint our storage unit. We would like to give a big thank you to both organisations and hope to see them again soon!
